Hi, I’m Ben and I head up the Category & Insights Team at 2 Sisters. I’m almost part of the furniture here now, having started back in early Feb 2014 as Head of Insights, moving to my current role in 2019. As a languages graduate, I started out in European market research before joining American Safety Razor (ASR), the world’s largest OL shaving products supplier in a European marketing role. After a year out travelling around the world, I then joined Kerry Foods for just shy of 10 years, working on most of their OL and branded chilled food categories across category and insight, before joining Two Sisters. I’ve now clocked up over 17 years in the food industry, (although it only seems like yesterday when I started out!) and I love the fast-moving nature of our categories, and trying to keep on top of the constant changes in shopper / consumer behaviour and the latest relevant food trends. Outside of work, my main interest is football, having been my son’s football coach (and chauffeur) for 8 years, as well as being a frustrated Arsenal fan. Aside from sport and fitness, my other main passion is food. Be it cooking or baking, I like nothing more than whiling away a few hours in the kitchen, experimenting and creating dishes for others to enjoy.

Hi, I'm Andrew! I have worked for 2SFG / Bernard Matthews for 7 years working across nearly all customers during my tenure, so 'HELLO' to those of you that have crossed my path previously. I thoroughly enjoy working in category and the food FMCG market, so much so I took my wife to Walmart in Las Vegas on our honeymoon and visited 7 Lidl stores in Tenerife during a weeks holiday there when we got engaged! Outside of work, I enjoy DIY, running, Peloton exercise, spending time with my family and watching rugby! If you need anything, please feel free to drop me a call or email.

Hello, my name is Chris and I am a Category Controller for 2 Sisters Food Group, and our customers. My role is all about driving actionable insights and data analysis to form strategic category plans and visions for our business partners. It’s not just insight – it’s more about foresight, particularly in the current uncertain world of FMCG. I like to take complex data and insights-minutia and transform it into simple stories and clear action plans to drive tangible results for the shoppers, our strategic partners and our business. Aligning those 3 elements is never a simple process, but very satisfying when it all comes together Outside of work I have several big interests – Food (cooking and consuming), Music (I am an underachieving multi-instrumentalist) Cycling and Hiking, Gaming and I am an avid supporter of Liverpool FC (which is where I am originally from). I live with my partner, Jane, in Stratford-upon-Avon and we have 3 sons who provide equal measures of pride, pleasure and pain.

Hi, I’m Sara and I’m a Senior Category Manager at 2SFG. I joined in Sept 2024 but have worked in Category & Insights for over 20 years. My FMCG career started at Nestle and I have since worked at several branded and own label businesses, including Arla Foods, Cranswick, Muller, ABP, Greencore and Tropicana Brands Group. My passion is for turning the numbers into a narrative that everyone understands and then uncovering opportunities for growth, with the customer and consumer at the heart of the thought process. Outside of work I spend most of my time at the side of football pitches - watching both my son and daughter play. Outside of that, I can be found walking with my crazy dog or socialising with my friends and family.

Hi, I'm Ben. I joined 2SFG in 2022, having previously worked with a variety of retailers (including Tesco, M&S, Ocado and Waitrose) on Fresh Prepared categories, as well as a secondment on the retail side. Whilst the majority of my experience is across own label I have been fortunate enough to work across a few brands, such a Pizza Express, where I was responsible for bringing their Romana Pizza into retail in Ireland! I’m interested in the unique role that food plays in the lives of everyone and how it can affect our lifestyle in so many different ways, from the joy of cooking a fancy meal, to the effect it can have on our health. Outside of work, I founded my own drinks brand (perhaps working purely on food wasn’t enough for me) which is based in my home city of London. I’m also a keen sportsman, so can be found at my local tennis club, or at a pub watching Liverpool FC (if watching sport was as healthy as doing sport then I’d be the healthiest man alive).

Hola, I'm Dayanna but everyone calls me ‘D’. I was born in England, but I grew up in Venezuela, therefore I am fluent in Spanish so if you need any help or just want to practice don’t be shy and contact me. I am a Chemical Engineer with a master’s in Marketing, my working experience has been in FMCG companies such as Kraft Foods and SC Johnson back in Venezuela. I moved to England in 2012 and I have been working in 2 Sisters since July 2014, starting as a Category Executive before being promoted to my current position of Category Manager. Since then, I have been working on different accounts like Tesco, Asda, Lidl , M&S and Ocado. Outside work I have 2 big interests, Photography and Food. With photography I love to try to capture moments, I always believe that one good picture can say a thousand words, so I am always looking for the best photo. My love for food hasn’t led me to become a proficient cook unfortunately (though I do have about 3 signature dishes I can always pull out), but I do love to go out and try different kinds of food from around the world. I have an Instagram account where I review restaurants, which you can check out! (@dbaricelli and @danynana_food)

Hi, I’m Mark. Although I studied History at university in Manchester, I have spent over a decade working in the food and drink sector before joining 2 Sisters in 2023. I started on the frontline, working in kitchens and bars, before finding my passion for data and insights during seven years at CGA by Nielsen IQ. I now work in the Category & Insight team at 2 Sisters, helping us understand the market we love, be ahead of the curve with emerging trends, and make the best decisions possible in partnership with our customers. Outside of work, I live and breathe food & drink. I love visiting the newest venues and trying new dishes and flavours. I even brew my own cider at home. I also have a passion for music, currently owning 12 guitars and counting, as well as walking & exercise.

Hello, I’m Leigh and I'm one of the newer members of the category team here at 2SFG. I have worked within category functions for just shy of 3 years now, primarily working with the Aldi buying team. Before all of this I started my work-life at Eurofins with all thing’s nutrition and microbiological, then eventually diving into menu development, NPD and training for Marston’s PLC for nearly 10 years. So, my love of everything food has now traversed into the poultry retail landscape to which I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into…pun intended! Outside of work my top 3 hobbies are food, music and my furry family (4 cats and 4 dogs), so any chance I get to mix all these together, I’m all over it! My side hustle since I was 16 has been teaching the piano and keyboard and over this time I’ve somehow managed to keep a perfect record for all exams taken. Playing in bands has also taken up many weekends over the years from folk to 90’s house and even gracing the stage at Mathew Street festival with a Eurythmics tribute band. So, in conclusion give me some epic street food (chicken or turkey obviously) and a great band and I’m one happy man.

My name is Daniel Johnston and I recently joined Bernard Matthews as Brand Manger covering all branded products from Turkey Dinosaurs through to Twizzlers. I’m looking forward to helping put Bernard Matthews back on the map, taking the brand forward and inspiring the nation to consume more of our turkey products in new innovative ways. I join the business with over 20 years’ experience in marketing both in consumer goods and FMCG. In the consumer goods sphere, I have worked at companies such as Hallmark and Morphy Richards and in FMCG the likes of ARLA, Symington’s and Birdseye. I have also had the pleasure of working across license products, whether that be toys, yogurt or celebration cakes. I am now looking forward to submersing myself in the world of poultry and the challenges it brings. Outside of work I am based in Leeds with wife and son and our lock down dog Luna, (who seems to have taken over our lives). We enjoy going on adventures together and can’t wait for the world to open up again properly so we can go on many more. If you need anything, please feel free to drop me a call or email.
